Re: Top 20 Away Fans Ranked
Liverpool at #7?

Their away fans = death of others and their own! What the muck is this survey in the middle? Unbelievable, Jeff.

Ah well, we top at least one League. COYFI!

Re: Top 20 Away Fans Ranked
Those lists are always subjective but, bizarrely, I make that one about right.

I'd have Palace a wee bit higher up, though. The plucky little southerners do create an atmosphere. And Arsenal near the top ten? Do me a favour.

Stands to reason we are #1. Of course we are.

Re: Top 20 Away Fans Ranked
We’ve always had good away support.

Anyone who has spent time going to West Ham’s away games will know that it is a completely different experience to a home game.

The away fans always seem to stand by the team irrespective of the score or performance. It’s more “tribal” as you are part of a smaller group going into enemy territory and the fans have each other’s back. They also try to have a good time with plenty of banter and some of the best songs and chants come from the away trips.

Always proud to see or hear our away fans outsinging the opposition, week in week out.

Well done all of you. About time the media stopped bleating on about the likes of Newcastle and the Scouse being the best fans in the country.

Re: Top 20 Away Fans Ranked
Here’s the top ten to save you all the painful clicking through the site ...

1. West Ham
2. Rangers
3. Leeds
4. Newcastle
5. Man Utd.
6 Celtic
7. Liverpool
8. Birmingham
9. Sunderland
10. Everton

West Ham

The Hammers top the rankings for best away support in the league. Whether it be creating an ambience, travelling in numbers or singing regardless of the scoreline, West Ham top the pile.

The Irons fans are one of a kind and consistently follow their team regardless of the situation. A Tuesday-night trip to Newcastle? They would fill out the 3,000 allocation with ease.
